More layouts and a challenge

This week has been awesome- I've done I think 10 layouts or so. I'm loving these CT's- they're helping me so much! As always, credits and journaling can be found at my DST gallery here.

As part of my pregnancy album, I wanted to include the actual birth. I was on it in my chronological album for 2006, so I scrapped it before most of my other pregnancy layouts, even though it will be in the end of it. Here it is as the spread, individual pages are also below.

I did this for 2 challenges- Lifts with a Twist, and Pixel Gypsy's weekly blog challenge. This week the prize is a $15 gift certificate to her store, which is sooo awesome! If you want to play, please check out the blog here. Her stuff is wonderful and so fun to play with!

This was for another CT- Merkeley Designs. You can find her at Merkeley Designs and OScraps.

This was done for another CT- Buzy Bee Scrapper. She just recently opened her own store.

Most of these are CT layouts- this one is using Sara Ellis's newest collab kit- Unbe-leaf-able.
I used Gina Arzaga's Monkey'n Around Girl Version kit, available at her blog store.
One more CT- Jill D-Zines and her Summer Breeze kit:
Whew! If you've made it down this far, thanks for looking! :)

New Stuff

Have you seen the new kit by Christina Renee and her new apprentice Amy Hutchinson? Oh my goodness, it's FABULOUS! It's currently 32% off in Amy's new store. They just had a challenge on DST to make a page using just the kit. Click on the picture and it will take you to Amy's store front.

Anyway, I did a 2 page spread of my husband's Christmas party last year:

After that I did this for my CT Sara Ellis. She has a brand spanking new collab with Danielle Engebretson over at OAKS, called Royal Chaos. Too cute!

All credits and journaling can be found on my DST gallery here.

I finally finished my first layout for the Stand Up and Scrap contest. I can't post it yet because I have to remain anonymous. But let me just say that the talent of those that are participating (almost 500!) is just breathtaking. There is some serious inspiration in that gallery. Both intermediate and advanced- they're all stunning.

Here's a link to the galleries if you want to take a look:

Anyway, that's what I did this weekend. :)

Lifts with a Twist, Digi Dare

I took a couple nights off- I thought I was really tired, but I ended up having insomnia, so I should have stayed up and scrapped. Oh well. Did these in the last 2 nights:

This is for Lifts with a Twist- found here. Credits for the layout are here.

Here is the Digi Dare Challenge. Our challenge was to give advice to our 20 year old selves. You can find the challenge here. See credits and journaling at DST.

Here's my 3rd entry for my pregnancy album. It is SOO nice to work on this because I already preselected my color scheme, specific kits to use, sketches, etc for the whole album! It will be over 56 pages total. I can't wait to finish it! See credits here.
Well, I'm off to bed. My husband's off work tomorrow, so that's our day to be together. Have a great night!

I am on fire!

I have been on such a scrapping kick lately- I'm getting 2-3 layouts done a night now! I owe it all to my CT's- I'm able to get so much done now! I'm on 6 teams now, and the leader for one of them. It's a lot, but I have amazed myself at how organized I've been with them. I have a spreadsheet that I keep track of what needs to be done, and I set specific deadlines for each team, regardless if they had one or not. It's working out really well. Believe it or not, I still have yet to do a single layout during the day, even with the kids in school. It's all done at night. Now that I have a dual monitor set up (I love being married to a geek), I just pop in a movie, and it's so much more fun to scrap these days!

I finally started my pregnancy album of my last child. Yep, he'll be one next month. I'm really on the ball. ;) But I have about 6 albums in progress at any given time. That's another benefit of going digital- I don't feel the pressure to scrap chronologically anymore. I still have yearly albums, but I get to them as I feel like it, and they're all coming together really well.

Anyway, here's the last few I've done:

All credits and journaling can be found at my DST gallery here.

Sorry, I know that's a lot. It's been a few days since I've updated! :) Actually though, this is about 3 nights worth. I told you, I'm on a roll!

Boots & Jeans

Here's my entry for the current Hodge Podge challenge. We had to scrap about something we like about Fall, use fall colors, and have a leaf somewhere on the layout. I also used some CT stuff- Autumn Moments by Pixel Gypsy, which you can find here. This kit is 20% off right now and is seriously sooo gorgeous!

Journaling and credits can be found here.

Credits for both can be found in my gallery at DST here.

Busy Busy Busy!

I've been a busy girl! I did 4 pages in the last 2 days- very productive. First three are of my son's 5th birthday party last August, and the bottom 2 are for a couple of challenges and stuff for CT's. All credits and journaling can be found in my gallery at DST if you're interested. Here's the link: DST Gallery

Here's the 2 pages together as the 2 page spread:
This was for a challenge on the Hodge Podge Blog- we had to "get naked." No, nothing naughty- just make our pages as simple as possible with very specific items to use. That is always a challenge for me- I love the simple, clean look, but I also love "clutter" on my layout and have a very hard time with white space. So this is my take on it: I still think it's too much, but for me, it was slimming down a LOT! :)
And, if you're looking for a challenge to participate in, check out Pixel Gypsy's weekly challenge on her blog here. They're posted every Sunday, and this coming week the prize will be AWESOME! :)

Anyway, I'm going to bed- pretty tired! Have a terrific weekend!

In a Movie

I just finished a challenge for Digi Dare #51- The theme was "lookalikes". We had to use 2 pictures, 4 alphabets, and paint. This is my entry. I think it's a little busy, but I've been wanting to scrap this picture of my famous movie twin for awhile.

I used a bunch of stuff from Sara Ellis, one of the gals I CT for. Her store can be found here.

Journaling and credits are found here.

Another contest

Well, I didn't win Digital's Next Top Scrapper. I didn't think I would, but I had a blast doing it anyway.

But, I had so much fun with that, and I honestly think that I created 4 of my best layouts ever with that contest, so I'm doing the next one- Stand Up and Scrap. This is really big- it's put on by 2 major sites, and has a lot of sponsors with A LOT of prizes! Stand up and Scrap is also a 6 week contest, so there will be a few more challenges.

Anyway, I'm off for the night. I did 3 layouts today for my son's ABC album of his trip with his aunt last summer. I'll post all of them when I'm done.
